It/they|genderless (was born a girl they're just an ugly corrupted siren from the depths of the sea, so they're a bit  insecure about it) 

They are a siren and  have been known  to lure pirates  to their caves n eat them , by singing a  lullaby mimicing a young girls voice  which makes the pirates curious  n  get near by the steep sharp rocks hit by the waves of the sea  inside the dark cave where the  siren is in.  They have the minor ability to control water  so they can mimic  mermaids as well  to lure the more skeptical pirates.

The once met a  young pirate so friendly n kind , who willingly helped them get the Fishing nets off their legs   n remove a couple of  the sharp metallic objects that had pierced their skin.  Thats the first time they ever met such a kind and sweet pirate..  They were a bit skeptical at first but soon fell in love with them, always visiting the dock where his ship docked bringing him a bunch of shiny stuff  they'd find in the ocean. They loved wearing his pirate hat n  coat n spend as much time as they could with him. Their romantic bond was jsut so strong, they were willing to do anything for their partner.... But it didnt last long..    They're a siren after all meant to kill n eat...  Cant hold the urges bavk forever.. They couldn't control their urges anymore  n killed n ate the pirate in his sleep one night  Soon enough regretted what they did  so they  swore theyd never eat pirates again. Since then they've been eating fish and  seaweed  as an alternative  for  meat..  Mourning the loss of their partner ,  often visiting his ship    that  was  now abandoned  in a deserted seashore.

They love shiny stuff, and like collecting bunch of things in their cave. Especially pearls, they often use them to decorate themselves to look more like a mermaid   to mask the ugly creature they are.

They dont rly have friends, so often end up talking to random  animals such as seagulls  or just  talk to themselves.

They often spy on little mermaids n wish they were one to join n play with them since in the past  they faced discrimination n  other mermaids would often run away.  Despite their looks all the little siren girl wanted was some friends n to have fun. Regardless of how others looked n what they were.
