Name: Lumimoof

This critter is a silly looking thing, getting its name from the glowing, angler fish like antenna on its head. Don’t take it’s cute appearance for granted, though- Lumimoofs can be very aggressive and fierce if they feel that they’re in danger, and tend to stick to only a couple chosen companions whom they trust, if not just one. It wouldn’t be easy, but gaining a Lumimoof’s trust means gaining a guaranteed friend and protector for life.

They have a variant called Lumiglobes, who’s entire bodies shine.

These critters drop between two and three mushbulbs every month. The Lumiglobe variant does the same, but also has a 50/50 chance of dropping an opalized fossil in addition.

These critters can be found primarily through foraging in the sleepy creek. I’d prefer for them to be not too easy to find, but not incredibly rare either, if you can affect those chances.
