Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
Leaves crunch beneath the succubud's feet, and the soft swishing of his tail dragging against the ground serve as healthy background ambience. He idly scans his surroundings, taking in the scenery. It's a calm evening, and the deep orange sunlight light against the trees accentuates this. Bluff's on an evening stroll, his serphant Rodeo sitting on his shoulder. Suddenly, something catches his eye-- Something.. Sparkling? He ponders if he should even approach it, as it could be an ambush predator... There are a few of those on X, especially in dense forests like these.
"Should we check it out, l'il fella?" He turns his gaze to Rodeo, who flicks its tongue in response.
"...Right. Serphant," Bluff sighs, shaking his head, "Forgot'cha can't talk." He brings a claw to his chin, tapping it in thought.
"Don't smell any heat off'a it, but there are a few animals 'round here that don't emit any. Man, Ah should really get some friends." He puts his hands on his hips, huffing. "Talkin' to myself like this can't be healthy. Eh, whatever."

Him and Rodeo exchange glances, before he slowly makes his way toward the source of the sparkles. He comes across.. A star spore.
"Ooh.. Quite rare, ain't those things?.." Bluff mutters to himself, reaching out and picking it up. He examines the object, watching as it glimmers against the faint sunset. It's quite pretty, appearing almost like gold against the dull background.
"Ain't there some feller who likes collectin' these things?.. Ah can see why, they're quite the pretty little things.."

A grin spreads across Bluff's maw as he realizes this could be an opportunity to expand his wealth. He tucks the spore under his arm for safety, hurrying off with it like a delighted criminal making off with a bag of cash.
